Are dental X-rays safe?
Dental images use ionizing radiation, so they should be selected based on need. We follow current selection and radiation-safety guidance.
Is CBCT the same as a medical CT scan?
No. Dental CBCT is designed for 3D views of teeth, jaws, and nearby structures. It is used only when that information is expected to help.
What is an intraoral scanner?
It is a small camera that builds a 3D model of the teeth and gums.
Will I always avoid a traditional impression?
Not always. The best method depends on the treatment and the area being recorded.
Does a dental laser mean I will not need anesthetic?
Not necessarily. The need for numbing depends on the procedure and the tissues being treated.
